Built from 1863 to 1873, were produced 25,000 units, divided into three versions.

The first type had a brass action frame and underguard. The second, identical in size and mechanism to the first, had a steel action frame and brass underguard.

The third and last of the series was completely in steel. This weapon is available, in all versions, with walnut grips, tortoiseshell hammer and trigger, octagonal barrel and burnished details.

Also available in nickel-plated or engraved version.
