WESTER LINE - THE SMITH CARABINE

the_smith_carabine.jpg

In the so-called "transition period," immediately after the end of the Civil War, many models of weapons were born which, to varying degrees, played an important role in the writing of American history. One of these weapons was precisely the Smith carbine: many were pioneers crossing the frontier armed with their trusty carbine.

The hinged receiver allowed for quick and easy reloading even on horseback. The replica of the Smith rifle is available in the CAVALRY Cal.50 version, with bridge and saddle-ring, ARTILLERY, with strap holder, and finely engraved by hand.
